I have been married for 33 years and we have three grown sons and six grandchildren.I served as a police officer for 20 years, mostly as a Detective and quite a bit of undercover work. The last seven years of my police career was with the Int'l Police Task Force in Bosnia, Kosovo and East Timor as a Human Rights Investigator, Station Commander and Dep American Contingent Commander. I have written several books of short stories(a lot of humor) about my time with the Int'l Police Task Force. Actually I quit school after my junior year to join the Marines and subsequently served in Viet Nam from 68-69 and 70-71. During my 20 year military career I also served three years in Navy Special Warfare. I retired from the military in Sept 2009 upon my return from Iraq. My latest tour of duty was as a EOD (bomb squad) Team Leader. (They use the film "The Hurt Locker" as a training film at the EOD school as what NOT to do.) My life during the period I was at Wyandotte HS was extremely difficult. I was not a good student (an understatement)and pretty much a loner. I had very few friends. Although I didn't graduate I received my GED in the Marines and later when I went to college was voted Freshmen student of the year. I suspect, had there been such a category at Wyandotte, I would have been voted most likely to never accomplish much of anything. I have been denied my High School diploma by the KCK Board of Education although the courses they say I must have I took in college and made an A in all of them. Go figure. For me life has been quite an adventure. But the greatest adventure has been the path my life has taken after receiving Christ. I am on this site because the few friends I did make while I went to Wyandotte I would like to look up. Also, I believe I remember every kind word that anyone gave me. During that period of my life they were very, very important. It kept me going. To all who noticed me and gave me a kind word.....thank you. Feel free to drop me a line and say hello. Best regards, Frank
