Born in KCK in 1947. Went to Hawthorne Elementary, Northwest Jr. and graduated from Wyandotte in 1965. Graduated from KCK Junior College in 1967, received BSE in Education from Emporia State in 1969 & a MA in American History from Emporia State in 1976.
Served in the US Army 1969-71 and got married to my wife Glena on March 17, 1973, and we were married 35 1/2 years before she passed away on September 16, 2008 from cancer.
Taught Social Science courses for 31 years in USD #500, retiring from Wyandotte in 2002. I still work in several capacities at Wyandotte, including doing the school's textbooks, repairing and displaying of the trophies, doing extra duty, providing school tours for classes having reunions and anyone else who contacts me to do so, selling DVDs of school basketball games and CDs of all years of the Quiverian, giving tours of the new Alumni Center as well as amassing new memorabilia to display there, and am considered the official Wyandotte Historian. I worked from 2004-2009 at Manion's International Auction House [for military souvenirs and collectibles], but was laid off in late July of 2009 because of the economy. I hope that the economy improves and I can go back to work there part time again.

| A: 2-year degree from KCK Junior College; BSE from K.S.T.C. in Emporia [in 1969) and an M.A. in American History from Emporia State University [in 1976]. |

| A: Collected autographs, comic art & comics from the 1930's-1980's, military artifacts, KC Streetcar models, photos and films, bowl every Monday night [President of our church league]. |

| A: Sci-Fi, Comedy, Historical. |
| Q: Favorite type of music? |
| A: All types from circa 1900-1970's and some artists from today, like Sarah Brightman and Michael Crawford. |

| A: GRADUATION!!!!!!!!! And the undefeated basketball team of 1965. |
