After graduation, attended business school. Went to work in law office, Married a year after graduation to Tom Powers. Had one son, Eric, born 11/9/58. Stay at home mom until Eric was nearly 17, except for part time Christmas jobs. Returned to full time work in 1975 as secretary to Finance Director at Providence-St. Margaret Health Center.Divorced Tom Powers in 1976, and married Bill Conway in 1978. Left PSM and took position as Office Administrator aand assisted in the set up of Wy. Co. Court Trustee office (enforcement office for child support). Left Court Trustee office in 1983 and went to work for Private Industry Council (PIC) which administered federal Job Training Partnership Act. Through promotions wentfrom Executive Secretary to Executive Director in three years. Was there for 11 years until program was turned over to the State of Kansas to operate in 1995. Took computer classes and returned to work in law offices. "Retired" in 2001 but still work three days a week in KCMO Plaza law office. Have two granddaughters who live in Phoenix. My husband has 21 grandchildren (which includes my 2). He has own home remodeling/home maintenance business. My son lives in North Kansas City, Mo. Bill and I are very involved in the Shrine in Overland Park, KS.
