I was a hairdresser for 5 years out of high school before marrying Sonny Albright. Five years later our son Matthew was born and I became a stay at home mom. We lived in several states while traveling with Sonny's job; but we always considered KC our home. We decided not to travel any more in 1987 and settled back in the KC area. Sonny died in 1995 and I then went to work full time once again. I now work for the KCK Police Department as a secretary in the Internal Affairs Unit. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in Sept. of 2004 and am now a 5-year survivor! I've been blessed to have wonderful family and friends to help me through the rough times. I had a great time organizing the 40 year reunion for our class of 1965 and look forward to working on our 45 year reunion.
