After High School, attended KU graduated twice, Psychology and Masters in Social Work. Much of my work life has been in the health area both private and public. Retired Feb. 28, 2014. Married Marie Smith in 1972, we have two children, Jason and Emily. Jason is married and has a son, Hyland, and just completed his PhD and is working for Kentucky University in Lexington; Emily is married and has a son Giacomo and completed a PhD in Civil Engineering and Hydrology, works for the International Food Policy Research Institute, currently in DC, just returned from a two year Ethiopia station.
Currently I'm retired but continue working on our small ranch. We live in the foothills 35 miles NW of Fort Collins, CO on a 35 acre ranch, we also raise sheep for breeding stock, fleece, and meat. We moved to Colorado in 1987 and have continued our love of the mountains, the climate, college dominated communities, and hiking in the Rockies.
