I was born raised and educated in Kansas City Kansas. I have worked for USD 500 for the last 17 years as a Para Educate at F. L. Schlagle High School. I've been married since September 13, 1969 to a wonderful man named Leroy Edwards, who has and is a Reserve Nation Guardsman for the last 34 years. I have six children ages 30,28,27 24,20, and 18. Four sons and two daughters. My oldest son is a supervisor at UPS, oldest daughter is a Registered Nurse, next older son is a lawncare provider and barber, next olest son is a vocal music teacher in Memphis, Tennessee, next youngest daughter is graduating from Ats for Cosmetology in March of 2008, and last youngest son is currently enrolled in University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. As you can see I have been a very busy women for the last the last for years.
I currently hold a Associates Degree in Liberal Arts and Science. My ultimate goal is to get a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education before I retire from the district. I love working with the teen's of today it is quite a CHALLENGE. Are there anymore teachers out there? I also have quite a few grandchildren,too.
